Patient journey
Admission
All patients must first check in at the Main Reception desk.
Upon arrival at the clinic, please present the following documents at reception:
- A valid ID document (identity card or passport)
- Your health record
- Your medical insurance card (if applicable)
- For minors or patients under guardianship:
a valid ID document for both parents or the legal guardian must be provided, together with the required supporting documents.
A consent form must be signed by the parent(s) or legal guardian(s). In the event of divorce or separation, the divorce decree (or legal separation document) will serve as proof of parental authority.
Please make sure to arrive at the scheduled time for your appointment. A receptionist will welcome you and check that you have all the necessary documents for your care.
We kindly ask you to arrive 30 minutes before your appointment if this is your first visit to the clinic or if your personal information needs to be updated.
Please note that no admissions will be accepted within one hour of the clinic’s closing time.
To ensure continuity of your treatment during your stay, please bring:
- Your complete medical file (X-rays, ultrasound scans, prescriptions, laboratory test results, current treatment prescriptions, referral letter from your doctor, etc.)
- Prescriptions for any ongoing treatments, to be presented to the doctors responsible for your care
- Your personal medication, which should be handed to the nursing staff upon arrival.
For safety reasons, all personal medication must be stored in the department’s secure medication cabinet. It will be returned to you upon discharge.
We also recommend that you do not bring valuables with you during your admission. Please leave them at home or with someone accompanying you. The clinic cannot be held responsible for any lost items.
Patients admitted for a procedure may be accompanied by one parent (for paediatric patients) or one family member (for adult patients) during their care.
Discharge
Your doctor will decide when you are ready to leave the clinic and explain the discharge arrangements.
A member of the nursing team will assist you with the practical steps involved in your discharge.
Before leaving, you must go to the Main Reception desk to complete your administrative discharge formalities. If you are unable to move around, a relative may complete these procedures on your behalf. For minors, the responsible adult (parent, guardian or authorised adult, where applicable) must be present at discharge and provide a valid ID document.
If you decide to leave the clinic against medical advice, you will be required to sign a discharge form releasing the clinic from liability.
At the end of your stay, your personal medication will be returned to you. If necessary, the referring doctor will provide you, or your general practitioner, with an updated prescription.
Prescriptions are written using the International Nonproprietary Name (INN). Defined by the World Health Organization (WHO), the INN refers to the active substance contained in a medicine and helps avoid any risk of confusion. It provides a common language for healthcare professionals and patients worldwide.
Important information: the generic medicines prescribed or administered during your care contain the same active ingredients and meet the same standards of quality, safety and effectiveness as the original medicines.
At the end of your visit, you will receive a satisfaction questionnaire to share your feedback on the quality of our services.
